Some of you might have seen these pictures on Facebook. The other morning when I was off of school due to the cold weather, Phin woke up with some pretty amazing bed head.  There's nothing better than waking up to this smile (and cute hair)!

 

Just Because...

There's no rhyme or reason for these pictures.  I'm just happy to have my camera back and to have a cute little boy to take pictures of.

Phineas loves his kitties.  He wanted to hold Basil's hand and Basil  reached it out for him to hold.  Basil has been very sweet lately letting Phin pet him.  Of course, Phin loves it!

My Lens is Back!!!!

About a month ago, I had to send the lens of my DSLR camera away to get repaired.  I didn't realize how much I loved my camera until I had to part with it.  There is no way I can ever go back to a normal point and shoot camera.  The picture quality and ability to take good pictures in very low light are so different.  Today the fixed lens arrived in the mail!  Hopefully you'll be seeing more (and better) pictures back on the blog!  Hooray!  I would also like to give a shout out to Schiller's Camera and Video in St. Louis for selling me such a great camera and for helping me get it repaired!  

The giant bubble wrap the lens came in sure feels funny on my teeth!  (My 16 teeth.  That's all of the teeth you can get besides your second year molars.  This kids on top of his teeth!)

Play Date With the Boys

At work right now, 6 of us have little kids/babies ranging from almost 2 years old to around 12 weeks old.  And all 6 of those kids happen to be boys!  Today, since we had the day off for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, we got together for a play date!  The boys had a great time and the moms had fun as well.  Phin enjoyed crawling after their dog and getting to eat a delicious amount of goldfish crackers brought by one of the other boys.  Four other teachers are currently pregnant so we'll have to see who's going to be the first to add a girl to this group.
