Our New Van!

We are extremely excited to show you some pictures of our new van!  It will replace our old van which has treated us very well, but has seen some better days.  We would like to dedicate this van to our amazing family who support us, love us, encourage us, and always help us to get where we are going.

Jonas shows off all the space, especially when you have one of the captain's chairs folded into the floor. (Notice the shoe on the floor next to Jonas's head and the lack of shoes Phin has in previous pictures.  I made Phin take off his shoes to get in the car.  Yes, I do know at some point we'll have to get the mats dirty.)

Brother Photo Shoot!

Since I got some nice comments from family about how they liked the last set of pictures of Jonas in diapers, I decided to do both boys.  Trying to get both of them to look at me was near impossible, but we got a few pictures out of it.

Morning Photo Shoot

While getting ready the other morning while Phin was still sleeping, Jonas and I had a little impromptu photo session in our bed.  He's getting to be such a big boy!

Sacred Field Trips

Last week we were very busy as each day we met up with all the other kids from our church for "Sacred Field Trips".  This is our church's version of Vacation Bible School.  I didn't take a lot of pictures due to the fact that I was trying to keep an eye on Phin while also holding Jonas and keeping him happy.  The first day we went to a local working farm.  Here are few pictures...

Babies at Work!

There have been a lot of babies born at my work.  This past week a bunch of us got together with our kids to have a play date.  Here is a picture with the kids in age order of 3 months to 2 1/2 years.  I have the kids that span either side of those that came to the play date (Look for Phin in the Hawaiian shirt).  We were missing 4 other little boys in the picture.  (There must be something in the water.) :)

Also Jonas got to hang out with his almost-birthday buddy.  He and this little guy were born just one day apart.  Here is a picture of them around 1 month and now at 3 months.

Water Table

It was feeling hot and humid inside our house on Sunday, so we decided to take our fun outside and explore Phin's new water table.  Jonas joined us too and was happy to watch.  I think he can't wait until he can play too!

Laughs!

Just two days ago we heard Jonas laugh for the first time.  Last night we heard his little chuckle again.

(I apologize for the Cavs game that is on in the background.  I didn't think to turn it down.)

3 Months!

Our smiley little boy is 3 months old!  Usually we take pictures with the 3 month sticker, but as they were last spotted in the hands of a 2 year old...we can no longer find them.  Hopefully they'll turn up before month 4!

Some of his favorite things include smiling back at you, laying on his back or sitting up straight (none of this being held like a baby stuff), and waking up continually to eat throughout the night.  He also laughed (more than a single chuckle) for the first time last night.  His smile makes our hearts melt.

Our little guy is looking a lot like Daddy.  Here's a comparison:

Tummy Time

Today we all did some tummy time together, including Monkey.

(this was actually supposed to be posted several days ago but apparently I only saved it as a draft)

All Done!

Phineas has a new spoken word.  All done!  It was one of his first signs that he used consistently.  We are so proud of him!

2 months!

So before Jonas turns three months old, I figure I should hurry up and get his 2 month pictures up.  With how fast he is growing, he isn't even in this size anymore and he probably looks a bit different already, but better late than never. Right?
