A Visit to Connecticut: Part 1

We just arrived back from a very wonderful visit to see Nana, Grandpa, and Uncle Lee in Connecticut.  The boys had such a good time.  I have enough pictures that I am going to spread them out between a couple of posts.

 I also tried to take some cute 4th of July pictures in their somewhat matching outfits, but nobody was having it.  I think we were still recovering from our travels.  Nobody would look at me or smile.

We celebrated with a Bouldin 4th of July fireworks show.

 

 

Our New Van!

We are extremely excited to show you some pictures of our new van!  It will replace our old van which has treated us very well, but has seen some better days.  We would like to dedicate this van to our amazing family who support us, love us, encourage us, and always help us to get where we are going. 

Jonas shows off all the space, especially when you have one of the captain's chairs folded into the floor. (Notice the shoe on the floor next to Jonas's head and the lack of shoes Phin has in previous pictures.  I made Phin take off his shoes to get in the car.  Yes, I do know at some point we'll have to get the mats dirty.)

 

Brother Photo Shoot!

Since I got some nice comments from family about how they liked the last set of pictures of Jonas in diapers, I decided to do both boys.  Trying to get both of them to look at me was near impossible, but we got a few pictures out of it.

While getting ready the other morning while Phin was still sleeping, Jonas and I had a little impromptu photo session in our bed.  He's getting to be such a big boy!

Sacred Field Trips

Last week we were very busy as each day we met up with all the other kids from our church for "Sacred Field Trips".  This is our church's version of Vacation Bible School.  I didn't take a lot of pictures due to the fact that I was trying to keep an eye on Phin while also holding Jonas and keeping him happy.  The first day we went to a local working farm.  Here are few pictures...

Babies at Work!

There have been a lot of babies born at my work.  This past week a bunch of us got together with our kids to have a play date.  Here is a picture with the kids in age order of 3 months to 2 1/2 years.  I have the kids that span either side of those that came to the play date (Look for Phin in the Hawaiian shirt).  We were missing 4 other little boys in the picture.  (There must be something in the water.) :)  

Also Jonas got to hang out with his almost-birthday buddy.  He and this little guy were born just one day apart.  Here is a picture of them around 1 month and now at 3 months.

 

Water Table

It was feeling hot and humid inside our house on Sunday, so we decided to take our fun outside and explore Phin's new water table.  Jonas joined us too and was happy to watch.  I think he can't wait until he can play too!
