New Seat

We recently rediscovered that we had a "baby papasan chair" that once belonged to some pretty amazing cousins.  Over the past few nights it has become Phin's favorite place to sit next to us while we are trying to eat dinner.  He is especially likes the mirror on the other side of the leaf and seems entranced by the baby that he sees. :)

 

Happy Birthday Papa!

Phineas would like to wish Papa a very happy birthday!  He loves and misses you.  In this picture he's even got his very own Challenger to remember you by!

 

Sweet Pea

Today we decided to have a Sunday photo shoot.  Phineas donned his sweet pea outfit given to him by Grammy at his baby shower.  It finally fits!  First are my two favorites.  He was particularly smiley for Sophie the Giraffe (if you haven't heard of her, look her up.  This glorified dog toy is super popular right now and Phineas certainly loves her and chewing on her legs, so he can see why.)

This little green hat that came with the outfit was the same one that we took to the hospital in hopes that he could wear it home.  Looks like it fits a little better now!

Heads up!

Sorry for the lack of posts the past few days.  This week has sure flown by!  Phin is doing a great job working on his neck strength.  We practiced this morning with lots of tummy time!  What a strong little guy!

 

Snow Day!

Today Mommy had a snow day!  The snow was not as bad during the day as predicted, but it was certainly nice to have a day off.  Here are some pictures of Phin and the snow.

 

Reading with a Friend

Phineas had a great day with lots of smiles and "talking", at least more than normal.  Could it be the almost 7 straight hours of sleep he got last night??  :)  Here he was having a fun time reading to Basil this afternoon. (While it was a great story, Basil might actually be sitting close by because he is covetous of the white blanket.)
