Bouncing

Phineas loves to bounce so today Daddy set up his doorway jumper.  He modified it for our tiny little guy and he seemed to have a pretty good time.  I'm sure when he gets bigger we'll look back and laugh at how tiny he looks in the seat.

3 Months Old!

Our sweet little boy will be 3 months old tomorrow!  We can't believe how big he's getting.  We took some pictures one day early of our little guy.  Happy 3 month birthday buddy!

Our Little Ewok

We bought this cute little bear snowsuit right before Phineas was born.  When he came out so tiny, we ran to the store and exchanged it for a newborn size (instead of 0-3). Even then he still swimming in it.  However, last night we decided to get a little bit more use out of it and it just barely fits!  What a big boy!  He looked so cute and from the back, we swear he looks just like a little Ewok.

 

Kisses

We have learned in the past couple of days that really noisy kisses get Phineas to smile and be so happy.  Here are a few of the cute faces that he made this afternoon while I gave him some love.

Go Tribe!

I know, I know.  It is the middle of winter, the windchill is below zero, and it is far away from baseball season, but never before have I wanted it to be spring/summer so bad.  It was very appropriate then that Matt dressed Phineas today in an Indians outfit.  

Now this will be completely un-Phineas related, but in other news I have decided that we are spending waaay too much money heating cats.  I had noticed that our gas bills had gone up but I chalked it up to the fact that it was winter and the heat needed to run more.  I am starting to think that is not the cause.  What do you think?

President's Day

Since there was no school today, we spent a quiet, restful day at home all together.  Here are some pictures of Phineas enjoying his activity gym.

 

Nana's Visit

We have had a busy past couple of days as Nana came for visit!  Phin had a great time with Nana and got to hear lots and lots of nursery rhymes.  Even though they were stuck inside due to extremely low temperatures, both seemed to have a lot of fun.  Nana said that Phin was getting so much bigger and more attentive.  Here are some photos of Nana and Phineas.

Ash Wednesday

I know...this is a day late.  Happy Valentine's Day.  Unfortunately, due to a busy day, I didn't get any cute Valentine's Day pictures.  So here is Phineas after attending his first Ash Wednesday service.  

 

Happy Birthday Uncle Lee!

A Few Pictures

Nothing special to post for today, just a few pictures.  A disclaimer on these pictures and others...he does not spend all day in the swing.  :)  A lot of pictures are there because it is an easy place to put him where he is happy while I am holding the camera. 

Rolling Over

We have gotten him to roll over from stomach to back a handful of times.  However, whenever I try and get the camera out to film it, he never seems to do it.  I finally was able to catch him.  My camera stopped in the middle so there's a little bit of a jump. To quote Phineas, "I'm going to roll over, but I'm not going to be happy about it."

Phineas got all dressed up today for church and was quite a happy little guy.  Here's a video of him being happy and talkative this evening and some happy pictures.  Check out his cute little gray hat that he wore to church.  

Birthday Fun!

This has been a weekend of birthdays so far.  On Friday we celebrated my birthday.  Phin was kind enough to take an evening nap so that we could enjoy a yummy dinner out with a quiet baby.  We also enjoyed some delicious chocolate cake, but Phin's favorite part was the candles.  Today he went to a his first real birthday party for another little friend.  He has no idea about all the tasty cake that he missed out on! :)

Mobile in Action

As we mentioned before, Phineas loves his mobile.  Here I took a video of him "talking" and smiling just a little bit at the mobile.  Normally he might do a bit more, but this was taken in the late afternoon.  We have hung a few other toys on the mobile as he really seems to enjoy them.  This video is a little long, but isn't that what new parents are supposed to do?  Take extremely long videos of their babies doing nothing at all? :)  You can also watch him doing one of his favorite activites...kicking!

Rolling Around

Today Phineas rolled from his tummy to his back!  He was able to roll to both sides when starting from his tummy.  We're not quite yet at the point of rolling over from his back, but this was a great start.   We haven't been able to reduplicate the results of this morning, but we hope soon to see it again and to get a video of it.  Here are some action packed stills.  Go Phin!  Go!
